Welcome to another year at Lorenzo De Zavala Middle School where we are united in creating a positive learning environment for all or our students.  I look forward to working with each one of you in realizing our vision of success for all.  We have a calendar full of events that will enhance the development of our students academically and socially.

I believe it is important for you to know that you can count on the support of our administrative and counseling teams, as well as our academic teams, to help you provide the very best instruction for the students we serve.  Our focus is on rigor and relevance in our instruction.  We will also use the very latest we have available in technology and instructional resources to prepare our students with the tools they will need to succeed.

Our students are working towards success in an increasingly challenging job market and it is our responsibility to work together to make sure they are prepared for what lies ahead.  We want all of our students ready to enter high school with a focus on post secondary education.

At Lorenzo De Zavala Middle School WE BUILD FUTURES!  We are the people who will make a difference in a child's life and I am honored to be part of such an awesome team.
